Grand jury to hear Huntington shooting suspect’s case

HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) – A man accused of shooting and injuring another man in Huntington earlier this month was back in court Wedneday morning.

According to the Huntington Police Department, Hunter Crislip is accused of shooting a man in the back with a shotgun. He is facing a charge of attempted murder.


In Court Wednesday, a magistrate judge decided to bound the case over to a Cabell County grand jury.

The incident happened on April 8 at the Rotary apartment building earlier this month. According to Cabell County Sheriff Doug Adams, it was believed to have been a domestic situation.

Two children were in the home and were taken into law enforcement custody. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
